Best Shampoo for Every Hair Type
Proper hair care starts with treating your tresses
BY DESTINY VELAZQUEZ
as women we've pretty much spent our entire lives playing with our hair and learning how to manage it. I used to love putting cute little clips in my hair (PINK Butterfly clips were my fave) and my mom was always dousing me in detangling spray (my hair was a mess). As we grew up, learning how to manage our hair became easier - Now its time to think about the products we use to wash our hair. There are so many options of shampoo to choose from so how could we possibly narrow them down to the ones that are best for our hair care needs? Well, first things first: proper hair care starts with treating your tresses. Treat your tresses to the right ingredients and watch out for harsh chemicals that strip and dull your hair.
A few ingredients to stay away from: Parabens, sulfates, and Alcohol.
because they are not able to dissolve in water, Parabens can actually penetrate skin. continuous exposure can lead to skin problems such as skin irritations especially for those who are SENSITIVE to harsh chemicals. sulfates strip hair of natural oils and can leave hair feeling dry. Alcohol also CONTRIBUTES to this drying effect. Both these ingredients can even cause problems such as fading your color and hair loss.
Although there are tons of shampoos that contain these ingredients there are tons of others shampoos that are clean and tailored to your specific hair needs. Don't know where to start looking?
